Steven G. Meress MD, FACP
Medical Director


Dr. Meress is a board certified Internal Medicine Specialist experienced in Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, Wellness and Longevity techniques. Dr. Meress completed his Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin Madison in Medical Microbiology and received his medical degree from St. George University in Grenada, West Indies. Dr. Meress completed his last two years of medical school primarily in New York City and his residency at the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield Clinic in 1989. Since completion of his residency, he has been a staff physician and Chief of Emergency Medicine until founding and starting Fox Valley Wellness Center in 1999. Dr. Meress received Board-Certification in Holistic Medicine in 2006. He is also considered one of the foremost "Lyme-literate" physicians in the country, treating well over 500 patients with Lyme Disease.


Gina Knudsen, PA-C, MPAS

Mrs. Knudsen holds a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant studies from Midwestern University.  She has 10 years of experience specializing in primary care with an emphasis on women's health, lyme disease and minor cosmetic procedures.


 Michael Buyze, BS, MS, L.Ac
Acupuncture

Mr. Buyze has been practicing Acupuncture since 1998. He holds a Masters Degrees in Oriental Medicine and Exercise Physiology. He is currently a faculty member at The Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. Michael assists people in finding relief from various conditions including insomnia, acute and chronic pain syndromes, smoking cessation and PMS. He has had much success with patients with fertility issues.


Brian Borden, ND
Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Borden received his doctorate from the United States School of Naturopathy and is board certified through the American Naturopathic Certification Board (ANCB) as a Certified Traditional Naturopath (CTN). Dr. Borden was originally drawn to natural healthcare through the acquaintance of various 'bio-feedback' screening techniques and has since been blessed with the opportunity to work in close collaboration with Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Dentists, and other Naturopaths since 1996.

Dr. Borden's special interests include 'dental naturopathy', thermography, EAV, detoxification, and neural-emotional release. His primary specialty at Fox Valley Wellness Center is Computerized Bio-Resonance Screening (CBRS - a derivative of EAV) - a type of bio-feedback employed to uncover obstacles, deficiencies, and imbalances that impede efforts toward wellness. Dr. Borden is experienced in the use of various homeopathics, herbs, nutriceuticals, and detoxification methods in the effort of enabling people to systematically improve their level of health.

Kim Wildner
Certified Hypnotherapist


A childbirth professional for 15 years, Kim is certified in HypnoBirthing, a technique to help parents have a calmer, more gentle birth. She has been certified since 2001. Her training was through the Institute of Transformation Hypnotherapy, which is licensed by the Michigan State Board of Education. Kim is also a member in good standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists. As an entry-level midwife, she began a journey that has taken her to where she is today.

Besides actively teaching classes in HypnoBirthing, Kim also focuses on utilizing her skills for situations such as Smoking Cessation, Pain Management, sports improvement and stress reduction.

Kim's role at Fox Valley Wellness Center is to integrate her hypnosis skills into the patient detailed treatment plan. She is also available to see patients independent of the medical provider. Kim will be teaching classes in HypnoBirthing starting Fall, 2007.

Michele Foster, DTX
Energy Medicine Techician

Michele Foster is a dynamic, patient-focused woman with a reputation of assisting people in regressing emotional and physical pain, resulting in leading a more energetic, pain-free, and enhanced life. Owner of the Nuropulse, she studied directly under the inventor for years and has seen hundreds of people lead more functional lifestyles no matter what condition they have.  Michele likes to treat any person ages 5 - 95 without a pacemaker, pregnancy or cancer.

Michele has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Marketing, 1978, Certificate of practitioner- Nuropulse Therapy System, 2003, Master Practitioner - Nuropulse Therapy system, 2004 and Energy Medicine Technician, 2005.

Karen brings with her over 30 years of experience in the medical field, first working as a Medical Imaging Technician and over the past 15 years as a Registered Nurse. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and has a broad knowledge in natural health both professionally and personally.

Marge has over 34 years in Pediatrics, Geriatrics and Surgery. She is a graduate of Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Marge has gained knowledge about natural health over the years through her own experience and with great interest in total wellness.

Barbara has 18 yrs. of experience in both post surgical & emergency medicine. She is a graduate of St. Mary's College in South Bend, Indiana were she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Barbara has pursued and gained knowledge of natural health and alternative medicine through her desire to live a long and healthy life. More recently, she has integrated the use of therapeutic grade Essential oils.

 

Kirstin, RN
Clinic Nurse

 Kirstin has 13 years of nursing experience, comprised of in intensive care, operating room, recovery room, outpatient, telemetry and post-surgical care settings.  She is a graduate from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has found her passion in helping others achieve their optimal level of health and wellness.  She also has developed her knowledge of preventative and integrative medicine through personal study and experience.
