Kathy Pershing

Administrative Director

In 2007 Julie Meress saw a need to expand the staff and services provided to Fox Valley Wellness Center patients.  As a result of that need I was asked to join the staff.

I have been employed in the health care community for sixteen years.  I received my certifications as a Nursing Assistant, Medication Assistant and a Dementia Care Specialist from Lakeshore Technical College and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.  A process of ongoing education and training related to HIPPA, OSHA and administrative decision making processes help me in my daily responsibilities at the clinic.

I have always been a "People Person" and "Care Giver" at heart.  My initial position with the clinic allowed me a high level of interaction with patients along with an opportunity to apply my outgoing personality to my work.  As the Administrator, I strive to continue interacting with our patients.  As for my outgoing, upbeat personality, I hope it is contagious with the people I meet and see each day.

Public speaking, relating to mental illness, is a passion of mine.  I share my personal journey and recovery through mental illness. By educating people and promoting an understanding of the illnesses I can help to alleviate the stigma associated with many of the disorders.

In addition to being a volunteer with the American Red Cross Blood Drive Program, I am proud to be a 12 gallon blood donor.

As administrator of Fox Valley Wellness, I believe the strength and success of our clinic is rooted in the dedication, compassion and family centered focus of the entire staff.
